Seley, Gred B. and Charls Elise?

I’ve “rescued” an old photograph which was taken at the Cundill Studio in Maquoketa, IA sometime in the 1880’s. The photograph is of three men all appearing to be in their 30’s to 60’s at the time the photograph was taken. The names Seley, Gred B., and Charls are written by each along with the name ELISE written at the top. The oldest man is sitting so I’m wondering if he is the Father and others sons? Or If they are all brothers? There is definitely a family resemblance between them. Is ELISE a surname? Or their Mother’s first name? or maybe it is who the photograph was gifted to? I am hoping that someone can help solve this mystery so that the photograph can be returned to the care of family. If you know who this family is and can help solve the mystery please contact me.
