Serenus Warren Carter, Civil War discharge
My Paternal Grandfather Serenus Warren Carter enrolled February 16, 1865, a volunteer in the Ohio Infantry. He was a Private in Captain William W. Cockley's Company A 187 Regiment. Discharged on January 20, 1866 at Macon, Georgia. I found this in my parent's safe deposit box after their deaths.
