This is the last and only photo that I know of Shadrack Jacobs. He was my g,g,grand father who served in the Civil War. He was in the Texas Cavalry 19th Reg. His father was born in S.C. in 1796 and his name was Joshua. I don't have proof, but I think that Joshua's father was also named Shadrack. The names Shadrack, Joshua, John, William, James are passed through generations of our Jacobs family.
