She was married to Fred H Wittman on June 24, 1922 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, and had a child Joan (Wittman) Michniewicz. Susan Wittman died at age 69 years old on October 23, 1972 at Manayunk in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, and was buried at Saint Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery Lemonte Street, in Roxborough.

Fred H Wittman Jr. was born to Fred J. Wittman Sr. and Elizabeth Dahm. He had siblings Henry, Charles, and Maria Wittman. Fred Wittman was married to Susanna Farrell (1902 - 1972) in 1922 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They had three children.
