This is the grave of my father Talmadge R. Maxwell, I am Talmadge I. Maxwell. I was born in Newport News Va. My father was in the air force. He was working as a machinist in the ship yard building the aircraft carrier The Enterprise when I was born. I live in Lilburn Ga. My wife is Beth Maxwell and we have a daughter Kristin Maxwell.I am a machinist for the Atlanta Journal newspaper. My father died when I was seven years old so I didn't get to know him very well, but I am very proud of him and love him very much.
Talmadge R. Maxwell was the son of Joe Berry and Minnie Maxwell. He was married to Frances Canup Maxwell. He had four children Rita Lynn Maxwell Suarez born Nov 10th 1958, Tina Louise Maxwell Hayes born April 29th 1960, Talmadge Ira Maxwell born July 27th 1961, Donna Gay Maxwell Rodgers Born July 2nd 1963.
I was married to Talmadge Maxwell in 1956 and we have 4 children together. He was just out of the military when we were married.My son Talmadge Ira Maxwell is very interested in his family tree and has his father's flag from the military funeral at Mt. View cemetary. He is a very good man and loves his family dearly.
