The Burke Sisters, Daughters of Patrick and Honoria aka Nora Burke
I wish to thank Monica Wagner ([contact link]), for sending me this picture.

On 24 June 1880, in the West Virginia, Preston County, Portland District Census, P. 278D, these sisters were listed with their parents and their brothers. Enumerated were Patrick and Nora Burke, both said to be 40 and from Ireland, and their 8 children all born in West Virginia: James F. then 14; Nancy Ellen 13, John 11, Bridget 8, Nora 6, Patrick 4, Anna 3, and Catherine 1. Katherine would go on to marry Clement John Fromhart and have seven children: Eleanor aka Nellie; Raphael who died at age 5; Mary, Clement Jr., Vincent Patrick; Frederick James; and Wallace Leo Fromhart.

The sisters were from left to right:

Front, Bridget, Mary Ellen, and Honoria aka Nora; and

Back, Katherine aka Kate and Anna.
