(Edmonds) Steed, and had siblings Nancy Steed, Lucy Steed, Wiley Steed, Laura Steed, Joe Steed, John Steed, and Lillie Steed. He was in a relationship with Martha Elizabeth (Brown) Steed, and had a child Loubert Sylvester Steed. Tom Steed died at age 83 years old on June 3, 1957 at Braddock St SW, in Atlanta, Fulton County, and was buried at Prays Mill Baptist Church 4979 GA-5, in Douglasville, Douglas County.
