Joseph Ralph Kyne was born on Jan 18, 1918 in San Francisco, California to parents Frances Joseph Kyne (1885-1967) and Gertrude Cass Lucas (1894-1939). He had full siblings and half siblings inlcuding Marie Christine Kyne (1915-1994), John Francis Kyne (1916-1974), and Margaret E Kyne (1921-1976). He was married to Daisy Marie Gregory Polson (1909-2001) and they had one son together. Joseph joined the military on November 9, 1943 and served until April 15, 1947.
