U.S.S. Michigan Crew
Postcard picture of my grandfather Rollie Rhodes (direct center with pipe & dark hat above the man in the white hat)with his Navy buddies somewhere in the world~ Back of card isn't dated, addressed: R. Rhodes, U.S.S. Michigan, To Postmaster, New York City. It's written by my grandpa & reads, "I am on this card I am behind the man with the glass in his hand and a white hat on Rollie". My grandmother Robie says he lied about his age in order to enlist.
Date & Place: at Bunker/tent 17? in Unknown
