I think this was taken in England. Printed at the bottom H. W. Ashdown, 22 White Roch Place. The only family I have from England (that I know of) are the Oxley's.
Henry ASHDOWN was a registered photographer between 1869-1890 in London. I have 4 addresses for his business but 22 White Roch Place was not one of them. Others were; St John Wood, Harrington Rd, Harrington Rd, Baker Street. Hope this helps. Norma
