This was the last visit I shared with my Aunt Velma as she showed my son Daniel around the Cemetery. Funny how time has a way of people forgetting their ancestor.

I believe Velma's first husband was a Harland? Don't remember well as he was killed. Her second husband was Lester Travis and they had 2 daughters. Lesta and Marie. Harland adopted her son Billy. They Divorced sometime around 1966, She later married Peck Shepherd. Her Maiden name was Sherman, Daughter of Bryce and Marguerite Sherman, sister of Jack R. Sherman
