Victor was born on August 6, 1997. Growing up he was always an energetic and active boy. In 2011 Victor started complaining in school that he felt like he was going to faint. It was initially assumed he was just being a typical teenage boy, but when he actually fainted his parents sounded the alarm. It was discovered he had a rare undetected blood disorder that could turn into cancer anytime if not fixed. The boy was immediately sent to an oncologist, and from there he was hospitalized in Dnipropetrovsk, not far from his hometown. What seemed like half of Europe was informed about Victor, and significant funding was raised for him to receive a transplantation to save his life. In April 2012 he flew to Israel with his mother and underwent further treatment in preparation for the transplant; but he couldn’t stand it and on June 16 he died. He was just a month and a half away from his 15th birthday.
