Wid Medford

Israel “Wid” Medford of Waynesville, Haywood County, North Carolina United States was born in January 1818 to Jonas Medford and Lydia (Massey) Medford. Israel's partner was Mary Anne (Blaylock) Medford on August 2, 1842 in Waynesville, Haywood County, and they were together until Mary's death in 1895. They had a child Jonas M. Medford. He also married Margarete Olive (Allen) Medford. Israel Medford died at age 86 years old in 1904, and was buried at Green Hill Cemetery (Waynesville, North Carolina) in Waynesville.
