William Addison Porter was born on November 22, 1891 in Missouri United States to Cyrus Porter and Nora Naomi (Eiceman) Porter. He married Martha Alice (Cobbs) Porter on February 6, 1910, and they were married until William's death on July 29, 1949. He had children John Thomas Porter, Willard Allen Porter, Olan David Porter, Ann Naomi Porter, James Carroll Porter, Dora Almeida Elizabeth (Porter) Henry, William Woodrow Porter, Donald Edward Porter, and Cyrus B. Porter. William Porter was buried in July 1949 at Mounds Park Cemetery in Howardville, New Madrid County.
