Alice Henriette (Tampke) Stobb was born in 1868 to Wilhelm Ludwig August Tampke and Karoline Lisette (Hof) Tampke, and had siblings Lisette Louise (Tampke) Lehrer, Louisa Frances (Tampke) Hines, Emily M. (Tampke) Walker, Amanda J. (Tampke) Buck, August Carl Tampke, Olga Caroline (Tampke) Sahm, Adolph William Tampke, Ludolph George Tampke, Alwine Elisabeth (Tampke) Uhr, Lillie Alma (Tampke) Meneley, and Albert Sunim Tampke. She married William John Stobb in 1890, and they were married until William's death in 1924. She had children John Albert Stobb, Ella Alice Stobb, Anna Emily (Stobb) Guyer, Charles Mertin Stobb, Cornelia Lillie (Stobb) Kinard, Betty Lee (Stobb) Hollis, William Ralph Stobb, Murrell (Stobb) Blake, and Clara Edna (Stobb) Krill. Alice Stobb died at age 88 years old in 1956, and was buried at McAlister Cemetery in Carter County, Oklahoma USA. I love antique photographs. In addition to sharing old photos of my family, I am also going through my collection of "antique store people". They've been sitting in a storage tub in my back room much too long and maybe some of their families will be able to find them here. If I'm able to identify the people in the photo, I upload it not only to AncientFaces, but also to Ancestry, FamilySearch, and Find-A-Grave. If the person in the picture is a military veteran, the photo also goes on Fold3. I figure that the more places I upload these pictures, the greater the chance that a relative will be able to find them.
