This was my uncle and god-father. My parents were removed and abusive towards me, but Uncle Bill always provided special presents to keep me going forward. During one year when my parents said they would give me no Christmas presents at all, my Uncle Bill sent me a full Girl Scout uniform (including badge sash) as a vote of confidence and support in the direction I had found.
