William Thompson Fuller

William Thompson Fuller is the man with his foot upon a block and to the viewer's right in this photograph. In this, his only extant photo, he is posing beside Frisco locomotive 1259, probably in Paris, Lamar County, Texas. It is known that he was employed for several years by the SLSF (Frisco) Railway as a steam locomotive engineer. The other man in the photo has never been identified but is assumed to be another member of the locomotive crew.

Retired education program manager (Civil Service position) with U.S. Army. Amateur genealogist, very amateur astronomer, long-time O scale model railroader.
My paternal ancestors have been traced to New York, from which they moved to Missouri, many working there for the Frisco Railroad, and some thence to northeast Texas.
