Winslow Homer was a magnificent landscape painter. I saw one of his famous marine paintings on my first day of kindergarten in the hallway of P.S. 30 in the Red Hook section of Brooklyn.
I loved it from that day until the end of sixth grade. Going to school was enjoyable for me. Looking at paintings has given me so much happiness.
