Veronica was my grandmother from my mother's side.. she was a difficult but amazing woman! She did the most embarrassing things sometimes... Like yell at a random forener walking down the street.. telling them to go the hell back home, because they were taking up her space on the sidewalk.. funny thing is, my grandma lived in Wisconsin Dells.. a little a** town made of nothing but tourists attractions. she was a very bitter and crabby woman who had a heart of gold! She would do anything and everything for the people she loved! Growing up with her, I wish I could go back and change so many things.. like if I would have known how much having my first daughter was going to change/affect her, I would have had a kid a hell of a lot sooner lol when I had my daughter on February 26 2004, my grandma's personality completely changed! She was SO happy all the time! She was so in love with her! She never wanted to leave her side! My daughter Jelena was in her arms at all times! My grandma was the only one that approved of me having her. That made me feel so amazing.. I had basically lost two parents because I went through with that pregnancy, I was young and in a bi-racial relationship.. But with Grandma, after Jelena there was never once a unhappy or dull moment.. And it was so disappointing when she passed because shortly after my daughter's birth was my grandmother's death! The one person that finally brought joy into my grandma's life and she didn't even get to spend much time with her and she passed.. I'm just glad she had that chance to finally be happy! Even if it was only for a little bit.
