Michael Ardagno
My brother Michel (correct spelling) Ardagno was born on September 7, 1955 to Irene C. (Silva) Ardagno and Joseph w. Ardagno. Michel was the second eldest of 6 siblings: Kathy Galvin, Jill Morlan, Marie Silva, Joann Deacy and William Ardagno. Michel always followed his heart, no matter what his brain thought and although it got him into a bit of trouble over the years, I know he always found happiness in his life. My brother was never into sports but turn on the music and he would dance his heart out! Michel never cared for school and found it difficult but he found quilting and it became a huge part of his life. I remember his smile and that infectious laughter that only he had. I remember my brother was not a fighter but rather a lover in his life and a much better person because of that! Michel's death on February 25, 2008 was a shock to us all. He was having heart surgery and did not survive it. His death left such a hole in my heart because it was so unexpected. Michel, when I think about you, I still see your beautiful smile and remember what a wonderful soul you were. I know you finally found your peace... Love you, Kathy
Irene C Ardagno
My mother, Irene Catherine (Silva) Ardagno was born June 19, 1934 to Catherine and Emanual Silva of Chelsea, Massachusetts. She had 5 siblings: Ann McCauley, Rachel O'Leary, Emanual Silva Jr., Carol Currier and Marylou Becker. Irene married Joseph W. Ardagno and had 6 children: Katherine Galvin, Michel Ardagno, Jill Morlan, Marie Silva, Joann Deacy and William Ardagno. The proud grandmother of 10 grandchildren: Kelley Metsiou, Joseph Galvin Jr., Jessica Galvin, Daniel Morlan, Michelle Morlan, Timmy Morlan, Samantha Morlan, Anthony Deacy, Gina Deacy and Johnny Ardagno and the Great Grandmother of Tyler McDaniels, Alex Kelley, Jaxon Galvin and Ezekiel (Zeke) Galvin. My mother was the kindest woman I ever knew. She always found the best in people and always showed them she loved and cared for them. Most of our friends were treated like family by my mother and she was loved by them as well. Regardless of what was going on in her life, my mother always showed a smile and positive attitude on the outside. My fondest memories of mom were the paper dolls and clothes she made for us. Just the time she put into those cardboard dolls and the paper clothes she made and we all colored with crayons... The long talks she and I had, as I grew up and questioned life, she always took the time to explain things to me. Although I never realized it when I was younger ma, you were the most loving mother I could have had. I understand now, that which I couldn't before and I love you will all my heart. My mother, Irene, died on May 13, 2008 of congestive heart failure. A piece of my heart died that day ma and I miss you so very much! All my love, Kathy
