Later in her adult life, she resided in the city of Atlanta until her homegoing. She graduated from nursing school and became an RN in the early 80's. She worked for the Atlanta Jewish Community Center and also private duty homecare for over 25 years. Mrs. Brittian has 2 lovely daughters: Lashaun Ward and Angiela Johnson. 6 grandchildren: Parris, Michael, Asia, Qortne,(twins)Devin and Derin. She was the 2nd oldest of 8 siblings.
