He was the son of Burl & Stella Williams Burnheimer. He had two brothers, Kenneth Williams (Gallipolis, OH) and Marion Burnheimer (Springfield, IL). His sisters are/were: Evelyn (Ray Pennington), Elmie (Bush), Carol Leeport (deceased in 1960's), Naomi (Bush) Kathryn (Bonecutter), Barbara (Curry).
He was married to Mary Catherine Vititoe on Jan. 1, 1957. They had three children, Anthony, Karen and Timothy. They were divorced around May, 1975.
He was later married to Betty (unknown) who was age 18 around 1980/81.
He was short in stature (around 5'5" or 5'6". He had black hair and blue eyes. He was a trim man who was never overweight.
He was a known family pervert who cut holes in his pants pocket and "pleasured" himself in front of the very young females in his family. Most of his sisters were smart enough not to allow their female children to be left alone in the same room.
He was also a very abusive man, especially to his wife Mary. Mary sued him for divorce three times and finally went through with it the third time when their children finally said "enough is enough" and threatened to run away from home if she didn't quit making them go through the nightmare of the beatings and trying to defend her.
He remained close to his oldest son, Anthony, to whom he promised everything in his will. His son, Timothy, refused to have anything more to do with him when he grabbed his wife's boobs. His daughter, Karen, would not even speak to him or let him near her kids and thus never spoke to him ever again as she considered him a very evil man.
The only sibling member of the family who will admit to this is his sister, Kathryn, who once said that she told her own daughter that if she ever found herself alone in a room with him and didn't walk out that she would spank her for staying.
His most frequent beatings of Mary occurred because she wanted to go to church. He did not approve of this at all. After their divorce, he started attending church and passed himself off as a devout Christian. His public persona was important to him and as when he was married and straying, he dressed himself very nicely (in suits), even though his children were hungry or in need of food. He went out nearly every night to a local restaurant for "coffee". To the day of his death he denied that he "had a problem" with his perversions.
