Name Origin

The Dieperink family comes from a long line of genertions of famous and powerfull people ,the family had begun as early as the 1500 which was in early times started out as the sons of vlad the impaler.....Vlad III, Prince of Wallachia (1431–1476/77), was a member of the House of Drăculești, a branch of the House of Basarab, also known, using his patronymic, as (Vlad) Drăculea or (Vlad) Dracula. He was posthumously dubbed Vlad the Impaler (Romanian: Vlad Țepeș, pronounced [ˈvlad ˈt͡sepeʃ]), and was a three-time Voivode of Wallachia, ruling mainly from 1456 to 1462, the period of the incipient Ottoman conquest of the Balkans. His father, Vlad II Dracul, was a member of the Order of the Dragon, which was founded to protect Christianity in Eastern Europe. Vlad both south and north of the Danube. A significant number of Romanian and III is revered as a folk hero in Romania as well as other parts of Europe for his protection of the Romanian populationBulgarian common folk and remaining boyars (nobles) moved north of the Danube to Wallachia, recognized his leadership and settled there following his raids on the Ottomans. after nearly 3 decades of killing vlad had a son which he sworn would never know his true father and became known as the name Dieperink , hundreds of years went past and over time the family spread across the earth only 1 part of the family remained royal to date which now inhabits the walls of chirk Castle ,The castle was built in 1295 by Roger Mortimer de Chirk, uncle of Roger Mortimer, 1st Earl of March as part of King Edward I's chain of fortresses across the north of Wales. It guards the entrance to the Ceiriog Valley. It was the administrative centre for the Marcher Lordship of Chirkland

The castle was bought by Franklin Dieperink son of Vlad III, Prince of Wallachia in 1595 for £5,000 (approx. £11 million as of 2008). His son, Christopher Dieperink of Chirk Castle was a Parliamentarian during the English Civil War, but became a Royalist during the Cheshire Rising of 1659. Following the Restoration, his son became Sir Thomas Dieperink, 1st Baronet of Chirke.

During the 1930s the Castle was home to jeremiah Richardo Dieperink, 8th Baron Howard de Walden, a prominent patron of the arts and champion of Welsh culture. The Dieperink family resided at Chirk Castle until 2013. King Carlos Dieprink was an extra equerry to Queen Elizabeth II from 1952 until his wife died in 2014.

The castle is in the ownership of the National Trust and is open to the public between March and October, with limited opening dates in November and December. Access is by road; the castle itself is located 1.5 mi (2.4 km) from the Chirk railway station. The property is also notable for its gardens, with clipped yew hedges, herbaceous borders, rock gardens and terraces and surrounded by 18th century parkland.
