Dennis Norman Dingfield was my father. I remember how he loved my mom and me. We loss touch after they divorced. We found each other one day because we shared the same insurance. I made a decision to contact him. We talked frequently and had made plans for him to visit and meet my family. My dad passed away shortly before our visit. He was so proud to know I made a career as a firefighter/paramedic. I only wish I could have told him that he now has 8 year old twin grandsons, Sydney and Sebastian. I have pictures I look at often of the both of us. I will never regret making that call. I know he watches over me when I am on duty because he knows his grandsons need mom to alway come home. I had the best dad. Love you, Heather Rea Dingfield
