My grandparents Engheben related to me the story of their origin. The first country of origin was Norway. They were Jewish,& at first fled to Austria to escape persecutions. In Austria, Hitler got a little too close & they barely escaped concentration camps, fleeing to northern Italy. It was there they caught the immigrant boat to New York. Ellis Island. This is all I know but this story was related to me at age 14 by my grandparents, Raymond & Ethel Engheben. (RIP). They were very hard working loving, caring, grandparents.

Randy was a drummer in his high school band. He was very handsome & had 2 brothers & a sister! He was the youngest of 4! As a child growing up, his school picture very much resembled Leave it to Beaver! I learned this years later after seeing his school pictures. He always had a smile, even for strangers! He had many close friends throughout his life! He became an expert in computer technology & throughout his career. He even worked for the Pentagon toward the end of his career! He retired right after 911. He's always loved California, especially San Bernadino County! He was also a very loving father, and provided love, affection, advice, & material possessions for his wife & children.
