Updated Felguth Biographies

Helene was born in Germany in around 1905. She immigrated to the United States through Ellis Island when she was seventeen. She soon met the love of her life, Heinz Felguth, who had also immigrated from Germany, and they fell in love and got married. They lived in Brooklyn, New York, and raised two children--my father Ernest, and his sister Joan. She was a devout Christian, and a wonderful cook. Although she died of cancer when I was only seven years old, I remember her gentle, quiet spirit, and strong German stature. She was a kind grandmother that I wish I could've known longer.
There are no words to describe my father. He was one of a kind, and I miss him very much.
