Glowac Family History & Genealogy

Unfortunatley, Dan & Avis Glowac's photo was submited under the last name of 'Glowack'. I don't have much to say about Dan for he was not a very good husband and father. Avis Johnson Glowac who raised me from age two through six years was a wonderful woman that was strong, loving and cared for her children, grandchildren and put up with her husband's alcoholism and abuse. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Dan and Avis had four children, Robert, Phyllis, Dianne and my father, William. Alcoholism is genetic in our family. My father, William would defend my grandmother when my grandfather would attempt to abuse her. William loved Avis and respected her. my father William was more concerned about partying at the local Harold's Bar and would leave his four year old daughter outside sleeping in his truck all evening in the alley next to the establishment. My father would get in to several alcoholic intensified physical fights with my grandfather resulting in a bloody mess with my grandfather going after my father with a knife. My father then would flee the scene, intoxicated, stepmother, her two children, and I in tow following him home. My father visited the bar and then would retuen home to beat my step mother who he was charged with domestic battery. My step mother informed my father, it was "the booze, or her". my father picked her. My father who used to defend his mother, stopped beating his wife and started beating his only child, me. My father broke my nose when I was in the 5th grade. He used to threaten me he was going to send me to perocial school. I didn't know what that was. He informed me that it was for retards. My father, William informed me that my mother who I did not know since I was two years of age, was in the nut house and I would go there too. I did not meet my mother until I was 15 years old. My father used to call my mother in the middle of the night when I was in the first and second grade. He would get me up in the middle of the night. I could tell he had been drinking. He handed me the phone and told me to talk to my mother. I said hello. My father then grabbed the phone away from me and told my mother that she would never see me again. Where was my step mother? In bed. I was just a pawn in his mind. My father choked me when I was approx. 11 years of age after inicently over hearing a intimate conversation between him and my stepmother over leaving the toliet seat up. My step mother stopped my father and informed him that " I was not worth it." My father has not made his only child number one in his life. I have not lived with my father since I was 13 years old. My father, William Dean Glowac only cares about himself. I made myself a better person than him. I am in Law Enforcement, I was recently, legally married in Massachuttes and I have a 13 year old daughter. I am also a LESBIAN. WOOO HOOO. Big Deal. My Father who never invited me to spend the night in his home when I would visit or take me out in public. Your loss. I am finally happy. I will always be a Glowac. But not William's daughter. Avis's daughter. I would like to introduce the Glowac family of 2006.
