William and Susan (Walker) Halford
William Luker Halford (31 Jan 1835 - 30 Aug 1915) and Susan Caroline (Walker) Halford (Dec 1840 - 13 Jun 1910). Taken near Dora, Ozark County, MO. on 29 May 1910. Son of John Halford (c 1800 - Apr 1880) and Mary Eveline (Bromley) Halford (c 1805 - after 1880). John was born in SC but lived his adult life in Lawrence and Wayne Counties in TN. William migrated to Wayne County, MO, in 1874, and then moved on to Ozark County, MO, in 1883. William and Susan had seven children: John Thomas, James Franklin, William Andrew, Elihu Bird, Martha (Rieiger) (Weaver), Mary E (Dobbs) and Jesse.

Edith |Halford was born 12th June 1900, not sure where she was born, if anyone have any connection, to her, would be grateful for some information, Edith had son James on 28th June 1922, he was born in leigh manchester, all that i know from my late father james, that she had two sisters, my father told me that they moved to Canada, not sure it this was true, would be grateful if anyone could help me with information please email me on ( [contact link])

I was told that my grand father, William Halford, with his brother (i think he was named), John Halford came from England to South Africa via ship. These two brothers where from the Halford's store family line.
My grandfather married and had a family and the married my granny, Emily Ward in Cape Town, South Africa. During this time there was racial groups and John Halford married and we did not have any contact with them. William Halford had 5 children with Emily Ward = William (known to us all as Uncle Billy, late Marian,late Ralph, Vivien and Edward Halford.
So i am the daughter of Edward George Halford and i am looking to get into contact with Halford's in England and South Africa. My father was sent a package from the Halford's when in the 1980's with car stuff and unfortunately my father did not get in contact and keep contact when the Halford's in England tried to establish contact.
Would really appreciate any contact if you are part of the Halford's i am refering to.
