At nineteen years old, Eldon "Toby" Kenneth Hohl, landed at Utah Beach. He was also in Bastogne with Captain Cherry and the 72nd during The Battle of the Bulge. Later, he fought in the Ardennes and saved a young German soldiers life after disabling him. Eldon, carried and dragged the young man a mile, back to the base camp hospital. This young man kept in contact for several years after the war but Eldon suffered acute PTSD (Shell shock/Battle fatigue) and wanted to forget everything that he had experienced that last two years...
