Alvina Heeia (Kapepa) Baliling was born on June 25th, 1907 in Waikele Hawaii to James Kapepa and Sarah Laa. Both of her parents were born on Oahu in Hawaii. Alvina H. Kapepa, age 21, married John C. Preece, age 25, on February 2nd, 1929 in Oahu, Hawaii. She then married Florencio B. Baliling (1904 - 1981). Alvina Baliling was survived by a son, Henry K. Preece, a daughter, Alma Kalilikane, seventeen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Alvina Baliling died on November 23rd, 1991 at the age of 84 in Kuakini Medical Center in Honolulu, Honolulu County, Hawaii. She is buried in Valley of the Temples Memorial Park, Cemetery in Kaneohe, Honolulu County, Hawaii with her second husband, Florencio. See Alvina H Baliling: Obituary.
