Famous People named Karkusiewicz

In modern history, there is Daniel Stanley Karkusiewicz also known as Daniel Kay. A long-time advocate for motorcyclist's rights, and a veteran of many political candidate's campaigns, attempts were made at elected office. First as a candidate in the Illinois Republican party primary for a special election to fill the 5th congressional seat vacated by Rahm Emmanuel in 2009 and next to provide a challenger to the long-term incumbent 39th district State Senator. The move from Motorcyclist's Rights advocacy to advocating for the Slavic-American population and attempting to right many wrongs coincided with the Congressional attempt.
