I have traced the Kasholo name back to Sicily Italy and can not find anything past that.

History

Bencincio and Philabrenia Kasholo came to the USA from Sicily Italy. They were my great-great grandparents. One of there sons was Mike Kasholo, my great-grandfather. He had a few children. One son was Ernest Kashola my grandpa. Somehow his last name changed from Kasholo to Kashola. However his brother Frank’s last name was still Kasholo. We are not sure who or how it was changed. Ernest worked in the mines and died when my Father Ronnie Kashola was only 7. Ernest Kashola had 7 children. 2 boys and 5 girls. My father Ronnie was the youngest. He also worked in the mines for around 22 years. My father had 3 girls. Myself, Cynthia Kashola, Jennifer and Kathy. I can’t find any records beyond the census records that my great-great grandfather filled out. He stated that himself His wife their children and two people from France came to the USA and lived together for a time.
