Kasper von Koeckeritz was a protector of Martin Luther in the 1500 time frame after his theses was published and the church responded .
Many branches of family resided in area which is now in Poland , and other parts of what now is Germany. My Grandfather and his cousin came to the US in 1880's and settled in Southern MN , with cousins family residing in that area even today . My Grandfather (Adolph) moved to Canada but my father Rudolph stayed in the US . As Adolph had 3 sons that lived - Arthur , Herbert , Rudolph = art never had children and passed in British Colombia Canada , Herbert's family stayed in Canada on family farm where he raised a large family .
