From Germany and as it's not a common surname I have always been told every langbecker is the same lineage we are all blood from B.N.Langbecker I traced my name back to 1600s and found three brothers one way or another they ended up splitting to different countries one went to the USA one stayed in Germany and one went to Australia before these brothers I've never found someone named langbecker probably was but not many and hard to locate way back then there are only 1,500 some langbeckers alive and we can all trace our lineage back to 3 brothers half brothers full brothers im not sure
