Our name in Norway was Andersen.--Ole Andersen was born of Anders Stolager & Sigri Oldsdatter in1831,he married Ingeborg Knudsdatter in 1852. They had Andreas,who died in Norway near Drammen,Norway,Then Karl Andreas,Berta Marie,Olava,,Sophia,Inga,who died in Norway,Niels & Inga twins,who died on the ocean trip to the U.S.A. in 1870,Karen and Carl were born in U.S.A near Lake Mills,Winnebago,IA.
Karl Andreas married Ragnhild Oline Torgerson Bakke in 1880 and they had eleven children,one was my dad Tom Olai Langfald. They changed their name to Langfald after they came here. In 1918 my G.Grandfather Ole donated land so they could build a church,my grandpa,my dad and his brothers & others built the church in Center TWP.,Winnebago CO.,IA AND CALLED IT Center Lutheran Church,which is still being used by my cousins and other faithful memebers..
