This old gentleman's picture was found in a box of pictures my grandmother left. It has no name on the back. My grandmother was from Indianapolis originally and then moved to Palo Alto, California.
This photo belonged to my grandmother, Mettie Fitch Bradford who married Jacob William Markley. It was in a box of photos of her Markley and Bradford families so it possible was a grandfather or other relative of hers, thus making her my ancester too. Can you help? His mother is my cousin. I remember the day he was born. Mom and Aunt Mary came to a carnival I was at and gave me the news of his birth we were all so excited. Was not long after that his family went to California. Only spoke to his mom after that by phone. Was sad to learn of his death.

Norman was my grand father. He was a great man and my family misses him dearly. It says in the bio that it wasnt known of who his children were, they are Chris Markley and Dennis Markley. Also there are 5 cousins (his grandchildren) that he left behind. I regret that I didnt go see him more often! Its coming up on 11 years that he has been gone. I can say the hurt of him being gone, till this day still had never gone away. My dad and uncle were truly devistated and hurt as us grandchildren were. I dont think this family will ever get over you being gone. We would do anything to get the chance to see or talk to you again. But we all know that time will come some day till then we miss you so much grandpa, we also think of you all the time like I did tonight. I searched your obituary online and it brought me to this page. Miss & love you soo much!
