It is a mountainous region of the Western Balkans (or what in antiquity would have been called "Illyria" or "Greater Greece"). This name does not mean anything in Italian or Russian but is of an ancient dead (Illyrian) tribal language that is no longer in use. It is an ancient Illyrian tribal name, the meaning of which is unknown.

Veselin Misita, who led the attack on the Germans in Loznica.[1] After a one-day battle, the Germans were forced to surrender, the Chetniks captured 93 soldiers, who were the first German prisoners in occupied Europe.
