Navelsaker, Ivar Nikolai, oberst. Molde, f. 7. nov. 1893 i Nordfjordeid, sønn av fanejunker, bonde og bankkass. Ivar Peders. Navelsaker (1852—1934) og Nille Hansd., f. Navelsaker (1857—1922). Gift 1927 Gudrun Cappelen, f. 4. aug. 1903, datter av skipskaptein Paul Christians. Thrane Cappelen (1859—1932), Oslo og Alfhild Krogh-Olsen (1880—1910). Studerte 1914, off. 1917, studier i handelsfag. Premierløytnant i infanteri 1917, kaptein 1934, garnisonsoffiser 1917—32, i distriktstjenesten 1932 —40, oberst og sjef for Møre infanteriregiment siden 1946. Timelærer ved Bergens Handels-gymnasium og handelsskole 1918—43. Utgivelser:Oppgavesamling i bokførsel. Krigen i Romsdalen og Gudbrandsdalen.
