William Michael Poklicky's father was Michael "Michial" Poklicky, born about 1896 in Yugoslavia, and his mother was Helen Zurga 1896 - 1994), also born in Yugoslavia. William had one sister, Helen (1921 - 1994). When William was 4, he, his parents, and his sister Helen, were living in Cleveland, Ohio, on Bonna Ave. Dad was a laborer doing odd jobs. At 18, William was still living in Cleveland with his parents and going to school. He was 5 feet 10 inches tall, had brown eyes and brown hair, and a "light" complexion. William then entered the Navy in 1944, making him a veteran of World War II. About age 25 and after World War II, William married Julianne M. Lushnak (1931 - 2016) on September 28, 1950 in Cuyahoga, Ohio. They had 3 sons. He didn't seem to have much luck in marriage because he had then married Sheila L. Ellis and divorced her on November 30, 1963, citing "gross neglect/extreme cruelty". They were only married for a year and they had no children. Before he died, William married one more time: Barbara L. Braden on January 9, 1970, in Lake county, Ohio.
