Loren Richard Read WAS A MAN, a close friend of mine since we were 14 years old. He was born to Herbert Read, don't recall his mother's name; his sister's name was Sharon. He spent most of his life in Royal Oak, Michigan, graduated from Dondero High School. He married Linda in 1972 (give or take a year). Linda and Loren had a daughter named Rebecca who was 2 or 3 years old when he died. Loren brought his wife and daughter to my parent's home to meet me, unfortunately, sadly, I was not home at the time.
