A few months before my father died of pancreatic cancer, I reunited him with a long lost cousin. I "googled" the Reddig surname. Up came and awesome Muma website. Doug Muma had done an awesome job. Thereon the website listed was my dad's cousin Paula Muma. My dad found her address and phone number and got in touch with her.. They recalled memories of a time gone by. They enjoyed eachothers connectedness. They had a few moments before my father died. I know that his cousin was pleased she could talk with him, almost missing that window of opportunity because parents let pettiness break the ties! Hurrah for the kids that prevail and move on and forge new bonds with family.
