Marit Reitan postcard
This is a cryptic message written in shorthand on the back of one of my great-grandmother Marit Reitan's postcard-photographs.
It was taken in 1917 at Hudson Photo Studio
123 Washington St., Hoboken, NJ
Also on the back are quite a few shorthand characters.
I've asked around and apparently the 3 characters in the lower left hand corner are Gregg Shorthand, while the rest on the right side are Pitman Shorthand.
As my great-grandmother was from Europe, it is possible that some of the markings may have more than one sound!
Can you decipher any of this?

Martin E Reitan was born on October 17, 1910 in Bellingham, Whatcom, Washington to parents Matheus 'Matthew' Reitan (1870-1953) and Karen Margrete Pederson (1875-1955). He had siblings Paul Gerhard Reitan (1895-1974), Alfhilde Sophie Reitan I (1899-1902), Alfhild 'Alfie' Reitan II (1903-1974), Clara Margrette Reitan (1907-1984), and Melvin Charles Reitan Sr (1912-1968).
He resided in Bellingham, Whatcom, Washington and worked various sawmill occupations and was also a deckhand on a tug boat.
At the time of his registration on October 16, 1940, he was 30 years old and resided in Friday Harbor, San Juan, Washington. He was employed by Roche Harbor Lime and Cement Co.
Later, on June 6, 1942, Martin Reitan enlisted in Tacoma, Washington. He held the rank of Private in the Selectees (Enlisted Men) and served in the Branch Immaterial - Warrant Officers, USA.
