The first person I ever saw chop the head off chicken. Let me keep my sailboat in his barn for free. Very smart , would read the newspaper & books . Was the favorite of his brother in-law Andy's older brother Steve who was in the USA for years then went back to Slovakia .When I met Steve in 1971 he asked about the children including " Little Frankie " .Uncle Frank was very moved by that , sent Steve then about 80 years old some money .Steve wud tell me later how happy he was to hear from Frank . Although he lived in the present was a great source for history including but not limited to the history of Swartz Creek , the rise of the UAW , and stories about how he and nephew Chuck would take trips to Chicago . Was great when meeting y daughter Lizzy when she came to the USA in 1997.Luckily we saw Frank not long before he died.
