Name Origin
Sigudla means we are going around. It is believed that the Sigudla people were a remnant of the Sotho people scattered around Southern Africa during the Mfecane/Lifaqane wars. They remained in the hills of central Swaziland at Nsingweni. When the Swazi came wanting to conquer them, they met resistance hence ghey had to go around the land instead of passing through...hence the name Sigudla...We are going around.
