History

Welikola Ralahami is the Elder son of " Kirawella Maha ralahami who is brother in law of prince Sri Rajasinghe, the younger brother of King V111 (8) Dharmaparakramabahu at the time of Kingdom of Kotte, Sri Lanka. Kirawella Maha Ralahami married the daughter of Regional King of Hill - Country at that time. This princess bore to Kirawella Ralahami the Undermentioned children. Velikola Ralahami, Gumgamuve Ralahami, Obberiye Ralahahami, Valageyi Ralahami, Ennoruwe Ralahami, Kirawelle Ralahami, and the Princess who afterwards became the Queen of Jayawira Bandara - altogether seven children.
