Almira J. Williams, dau of Swain Williams and Mary A. Philbrook, was born and raised in Licking Co Jersey twp Ohio. The family had moved to Centerburg, Knox, Ohio by the time of the 1880 census. Almira was married first to Robert R. Morehead on the 13th Day of April 1876. (marriage license issued 12th day of April, 1876 by Judge George M Grassen/Grafsen (he spells his name both ways in the affidavit. He also states that the bride was Allie J. Williams.) The Minister also spells her name Allie J. Williams. (I do hereby certify that on the thirteenth day of April 1876, I soleminized the marriage of Mr. Robert R. Moorhead with Miss Allie J. Williams. J. W. Osborn, Minister of the Gospel.) Robert and Allie were married near Alexadria, Licking Co. OH.
Robert R. Morehead died: on the 21st day of August 1879 at Centerburg, Knox Co. Ohio. Died of consumption.(also stated that he (Robert) died of Hemorrhage of the Lungs) Robert was with Co D. 160th Ohio, Vol. Inft. Pension Claim # 314564.
CHILD of Robert R. Morehead and Almira J. Williams:
Lillis M. Morehead b. Nov 22, 1878 (female per doctors affidavit) it is probable that Lillis died young. Almira and Lillis were shown living with her parents in the Centerburg, Knox, Ohio 1880 census and sometime after this census the family had moved to Indiana.
Almira then married David B. Stafford on the 3rd day of July 1887 at Russiaville, Howard Co.
Indiana. (This marriage license and marriage certificate show her as Almira Moorhead.)

marriage certificate was signed by Rev James L. Miller State of Indiana, Howard Co on July 3 1887.
David B. Stafford of Russiaville, IND. was a carpenter, he was born in Ohio the son of John Stafford and Levina Beason.
They moved to Kansas/Oklahoma sometime after their marriage. Almira's sister Lizzie, Mrs Daniel Ball lived at Kiowa KS.

Almira J. Williams Morehead Stafford age 52, was married for the 3rd time on May 25, 1910 Arnett, Ellis Co Oklahoma by Judge A.E. Williams to Leonard J Wohlgumeth age 49, a native of New York, now living in Ellis Co Oklahoma.
By the time of the 1920 census Allie and Leonard had moved to CA.

John H Headland a native of Pennsylvania, a widower, now living in Strathmore Tulare Co. CA.
Allie a widow, and native of Ohio, now living at 255 N Cleveland St Orange CA. Kenneth E Morrison Justice of the Peace Santa Ana CA performed the ceremony. April 3, 1930 census for Strathmore Tulare CA shows Allie and John living together.

It appears from the obit that son Christopher Stafford was surviving and living in San Francisco at the time of Allie's death.
NOTE: there is no headstone on her grave site.
Note: No known information about Allie's sister Elizabeth "Lizzie" Williams Ball, she was wife of Daniel Ball. Last trace of them was when they lived on a farm at Kiowa Kansas.
