1) Reason Why Ahir (Yadav) Regiment was not formed under the Indian Army : The long delayed Ahir (Yadav) regiment when in formation had few companies which were disbanded in British times as patriotic Ahir soldiers of Ahir company revolted against Britishers in Singapore in 1942 which scared the soul out of Britishers.

2) Veeran Alagu muthu kon is considered to be the first warrior to rise / fight against the British east india company, sadly he lost the war, got caught by fellow countryman the legendary khan sahib ( popularly known as Maruthanayagam who worked for british at that time but later created and spear headed a great army and rised against the british) and later sentenced to death by cannon shell.
for some reason this fact was kept in the dark for a long time and his actions was recognised recently and now he holds the honour as freedom fighter

3) Yadava dynasty, rulers of a 12th–14th-century Hindu kingdom of central India in what is now the Indian state of Maharashtra. Originally a feudatory of the Eastern Chalukyas, the dynasty became paramount in the Deccan under Bhillama (c. 1187–91), who founded Devagiri (later Daulatabad) as his capital.
