Toys Were Much Simpler In The Past
Toys were much simpler in the days before technology gave us video games, smart phones, and computers. The most popular children's gifts were often made out of wood, metal and hair. In fact, before the billion dollar toy industry we have today, many toys were handmade at home by creative and crafty mothers and fathers. In these photos you can tell the children were genuinely happy with their toys, and you might just find yourself longing for a small taste of this simpler life.

Our Beloved Friends and Playmates - Dolls!
Who was your closest friend in childhood? It may have been a brother, sister, cousin, or neighbor - but if you were a girl, your toy dolls might have ranked towards the top.
