This photo of George R Gilbert, 1926, a happy baby boy, was taken in Bay City MI. George was the second child of Marck and Maizie Gilbert. His brother did not survive infancy. George was named after his maternal grandfather, George Washington. This was not the famous George Washington!

This is a family photo taken of my grandmothers' family the 'du Toit 'family. My grandmother is the girl pictured on the left with the long brown hair her name was Nora du Toit. My greatgrandmother was Joe du Toit and my greatgrandfather was Wessel du Toit both also pictured in the photo. Photo was taken in Cape Town South Africa in 1914.
