She was born on October 28, 1902 in Chester, Crawford, Arkansas, USA and had siblings Pansy (1896-1980), Violet Jean (1901-1940), Norman Francis (1902-1932), Leslie (1904-1977), and Bernard S Gregory (1907-1910).
